In 2017, Dean joined Mobius with more than twenty-five years of professional experience in technical management, technical strategy and systems development. His focus has been the design, development, and deployment of innovative solutions for the IC, DoD, and commercial industry. Dean is a recognized leader in information technology, C4ISR, critical infrastructure protection, and cybersecurity.

Internally, Dean is responsible for the development of personnel and capabilities for cybersecurity and risk management in cloud, mobile, and ICS environments. He provides thought leadership on technologies and processes and supports business development, attracting talent, and developing solutions.

Externally, Dean supports national security clients as chief technical strategist and innovation advocate focused on special access programs. He is currently a member of the MDA Chief Architect’s Team and the CyberSecurity Working group. In his role, he manages architecture vision, program protection, and developing strategy for integrating advanced technology.

Dean holds a master's degree from Johns Hopkins University in Electrical Engineering and a bachelor's degree from the University of Cincinnati in Aerospace Engineering. Dean holds several Cybersecurity certifications including CISSP, CEH, CPT, A+, and others. He is a graduate of several Executive Leadership series including Darden, Harvard, and the Center for Creative Leadership.
