I came to Mobius in 2017 with fourteen years of industry experience and a bachelor’s and master’s degree in mechanical engineering. After graduating from Pennsylvania State University, I became a contractor supporting several Defense Advanced Research Agency (DARPA) projects, the Department of Homeland Security Science and Technology Directorate (DHS S&T), the Department of Defense Modeling and Simulation Coordination Office, and various other defense-related projects. Then, I accepted a temporary, five-year federal employment position as a technical program manager with DHS S&T, working on perimeter security and counter unmanned aerial vehicle technology development as well as executive office functions.
Mobius intrigued me because it was a small business with a big business vision. Knowing the market and our partners is only the beginning. There is always an eye on tomorrow, pursuing the next challenge and advancement. In the same vein, there is a focus on teamwork and a concern for employees that allows and encourages everyone to contribute to all parts of the business. No one holds you back.
In my spare time, I coach soccer for my two sons who are almost 9 and 12, tackle DIY projects, and pursue my love of cars. I like to find ones that need some TLC and tinker and polish them till they run smooth and put a smile on my face.
