I have a BS degree in Occupational Safety and Health and worked ten years as a contractor for NASA doing System Safety work. For the last twelve years, I have supported the Defense Industry, and my current position is a Systems Engineer assisting the Director for Engineering (DE) in the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) through the System Engineering & Test Requirements (SEF) team. Two and a half years ago, I was promoted to Senior Manager and manage a team of ten engineers both in Systems Engineering (SE) and Test Exercise and War-game (TEW).
Mobius intrigued me with the success it had achieved as a newer company. I also felt that a small company could offer more promotional opportunities if I proved my worth. Now that I am a Senior Manager, it is my pleasure to lead this team; I'm very proud of each one of them and their success.
One of the most refreshing parts about working with Mobius is the respect that everyone gives me. No one micro-manages me, and I appreciate that they trust me to do the job. Mobius has been the best company I have worked for in my twenty-two years of professional experience. It feels like home.
In my spare time, I am a baseball mom. I have two boys who I adore and love with all my heart, and they both have played travel baseball since they were 7 years old. (They are 17 and 14 now.) We travel all over the country as a family making some of the best memories together. I am also a "lake girl." I love my boat and the peace of being on the water; it is definitely my happy place.
