WASHINGTON, DC, September 10, 2014 - Frank Privitera of Mobius Consulting LLC was nominated for the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) prestigious "Contractor of the Year" award and was honored with official induction into the MDA Contractor Hall of Fame at a closed awards ceremony held on Wednesday, August 27. Out of several thousand contractor employees eligible for the Contractor Honor Roll, eighty seven individuals were nominated and only twelve individuals were inducted, including Mr. Privitera.
Additionally, Frank received a team innovation award in recognition for his leadership of the Space Architecture Team.
Mr. Privitera was awarded in recognition of his accomplished work for the MDA Space Architect. His fifteen years of dedication to the Ballistic Missile Defense mission and space systems have made him a subject matter expert in the fields of remote sensing Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR) and advanced technology space systems. His contributions have significantly furthered the defensive capability of the United States.
Mr. Privitera provides technical program management over several space initiatives and is a key contributor to the MDA technical vision defining the next generation of the Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS).
Frank is also the President of Mobius Consulting LLC, leading technical vision and execution strategies for the company.
MDA describes its awards as an honor for "individuals and teams who have helped make missile defense a reality."
Frank shares this award and honor with his MDA teammates, industry partners, and fellow Mobius employees and executives.
